Exploring the Journey of Pooja Hegde
Pooja Hegde, born October 13, 1990, is an acclaimed Indian actress. And known for her appearances in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films.
Initially starting her journey as a model. She achieved recognition by securing the second runner-up title at the prestigious 2010. I Am She–Miss Universe India pageant.
Hegde marked her acting debut in the Tamil film Mugamoodi (2012). Subsequently made her entry into the Telugu film industry with Oka Laila Kosam (2014). With her remarkable talent and captivating performances.
Hegde has successfully established herself as one of the prominent actresses in Telugu cinema. Pooja’s foray into Hindi cinema came with the film Mohenjo Daro, directed by the renowned Ashutosh Gowarikar.
Raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and brought up in a Tulu-speaking Bunt family. Her parents, Manjunath Hegde and Latha Hegde, originally hail from Udupi, Karnataka. Alongside her, she has an elder brother named Rishabh Hegde, who works as an orthopedic surgeon. Apart from Tulu, she is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi. As she pursued her career in the film industry, she also learned Telugu. She completed her schooling at Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School in Mumbai and attended M. M. K. College, where she actively participated in dance and fashion shows.
Pooja Hegde Path To Sucess
In 2018, Hegde appeared in three Telugu movies. The first one was a special appearance in the song “Jigelu Rani” for the period action film Rangasthalam. The song became popular on YouTube and she received praise for her performance. She also acted in Saakshyam, alongside Bellamkonda Sreenivas, and the action-drama Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, directed by Trivikram Srinivas and starring Jr. NTR. The film received a positive response and was a huge success.
In 2019, she made appearances in three more films: Maharshi, Gaddalakonda Ganesh, and Housefull 4. She also starred in the Telugu-language action drama film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in 2020, alongside Allu Arjun.
Moving on to 2021, Hegde played the lead role in Most Eligible Bachelor, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, opposite Akhil Akkineni. Her performance in the film was highly acclaimed, and she even won the SIIMA Award for Best Actress in Telugu.
In 2022, Hegde starred in the multilingual period romance film Radhe Shyam with Prabhas, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. Her performance in the movie received positive reviews.
Looking ahead to 2023, she appears opposite Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji.

Saakshyam: Directed by Sriwass and released in 2018, “Saakshyam” is an action-packed fantasy film in the Telugu language. Housefull 4: Directed by Farhad Samji and co-directed by Sajid Khan, this Hindi-language comedy film is the fourth installment in the “Housefull” film series. It was released in 2019.
Saakshyam: In 2020, a Telugu-language action drama film hit the screens. Trivikram Srinivas directed this film and produced by Allu Aravind and S. Radha Krishna under Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations. Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde portray the lead characters, while Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth, and Navdeep add to the ensemble.
